1. Software Engineer:

Job Duties: In a consulting environment, meet with client user and IT management to gather requirements and analyze user needs in order to develop software solutions pertaining to improving client's on line Internet website functionality. From requirements develop specifications with the objective of optimizing operational efficiency and insuring applications run in a secure and robust environment. From specifications participate in the full development cycle. Provide required analysis, development, testing (utilizing HP Quality Center which is a tool used to track application bugs), implementation (utilizing Remedy to track issues that arise in the production), and documentation of ASP.net based web sites utilizing VisualStudio.net (a tool used to develop web sites) in conformity with Internet Information Server technology (IIS); C#.net and VB.net to develop affiliated Window applications for the front end; and ORACLE for support of the SQL RDBMS. Interact with management and respond to comments, criticism and unanticipated anomalies.

Requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science or Physics and 1 year of experience. In lieu of, will accept a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Physics and 5 years of experience, or any suitable combination of education, training or experience thereof. Experience can be progressive. No less than a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience is acceptable.

2. Software Engineer:

Job Duties: In a consulting environment, meet with client IT and user management to gather requirements and develop specifications pertaining to the client's data migration needs. Evaluate existing data landscape and map the data to the new system. Utilize Informatica and SSIS (ETL tools consisting of a suite of data warehousing and migration tools used to migrate data). Design and develop customized data loading toolsets as required. Customize toolsets and integration tools for various systems. Continually test the system and make adjustments to the toolset utilizing advanced understanding of source control systems and their relationship to ETL. Develop versioning and tracking configuration elements for automated testing of the migration. Design data models utilizing dimensional modeling methodologies and tools (Erwin - data modeling tool used for this purpose) required to retrieve data in a logical and functional manner from data warehouses and data marts. Prepare reports utilizing Cognos and Business Objects that permit users to access the data in a variety of useful formats and parameters.
